Suites Opens in Savannah, GA

A new Holiday Express Inn & Suites, a property managed by Harris Hotel Group and owned by American Hotel Development Partners, has opened in mid-town Savannah, eight miles from the city's historic district.

This 88-room brick facade hotel serves an area that in the past has lacked contemporary hotels.

It's also one of the first new-build properties created after the recent worldwide relaunch of the Holiday Express Inn & Suites brand by InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG). 

The new hotel is close to Atlantic Armstrong State University, St. Joseph's Candler Hospital and Hunter Army Field.

The new hotel replaces a dated two-story Holiday Inn property (with exterior corridors) in Savannah that recently left the IHG system.
