Buying Trump Items on Chump Change in Palm Beach
While Worth Avenue is the Beverly Hills of shopping streets in South Florida, throughout Palm Beach County you also can find designer clothes, shoes and even linens and decorative items at what could best be termed "a steal."
No, you won't get thrown in the slammer. You just need to head for the area's many upscale thrift shops. Today's $2,000 designer handbag might show up in a thrift shop for $150, only because the owner bought it, but later felt it didn't match a particular dress.
Judy Colbert, a professional freelance writer from Crofton, MD, gives readers the inside intelligence to navigate the world of Palm Beach County's thrift shops. So if you want to look like Paris Hilton or Vanessa Manillo, take heed. You can buy Trump-like items on chump change. And it's fun to boot.
